UNSUNG WORDS

Soft dzikr wrapped me for calmness,
Where sincere prayers wiped my tears in silence,
Had they given me all the strength, those hands,
To grow up brave, to fight and to fend!

Plentiful advices in between those fusses,
And a little praises to ease me always,
‘Bear in mind’s and always to behave,
So where I go I’ll stay safe.

Of the years spent to watch me grow.
Of the months yearned to see me glow.
Of the minutes they gave me a blow.
So right that second I learnt to start from below,
And to pace up humbly though a little slow.
I’m thankful for that bestowal, O Allah, watch me bow.
All praises to Allah, The Rightful to Bestow.

Alhamdulillah.
